Ironic how there is now a stigma, to some, about text messaging from the reports about "sexting" and Christ has led me to witnessing through this method. I think its kind of funny to be honest.

Well, back to the story. I turned on my phone and was flooded with texts, which is somewhat unusual with the weekend being pretty much over and all, and I found a few messages from a close friend telling me that I needed to speak to a girl who didn't believe in God. At first this was a shock, since I figured that my friend would just do it himself, but it turns out that he already had spoken to her along with a few of my other friends.

I started texting her and it was kind of awkward since I haven't seen this girl in my life. After about 20 miniutes of texting her she sent me a message that said, "Oh yea so not to be pushy or andything but r u gonna tell me to go to church too?" That was kind of a shocker since we were just talking about me coming home from Okc. I ended up telling her that I wasn't going to go to church, I justed wanted to see what she thought about God and stuff like that. As the conversation went on I feel that we made progress since she did admit that there was a chance out there that God could in fact exsist, which made me very happy to know that she wasn't an atheist, but is agnostic (doesn't know if there is God out there or not).

We ended up talking for close to an hour about God and historical proof that stories in the Bible did happen. I feel like I made a difference in her life and I helped plant a seed, along with the countless others that have, that will hopefully end up leading to her salvation through Christ.

Remember, "You will recieve power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." - Acts 1:8

Don't expect to move mountains on your own, but through the power of the Holy Spirit you will make an amazing impact on the lives of others.

He still amazes me,
Tyler Thomas

Its Been Awhile

I haven't blogged in awhile, but I'm going to start again. For some its a lot, but for others its not. I get very annoyed easily, and that is almost the same thing. It is a sin to be angry at another person, but we should be angry at the sin in the world.
Today I had a friend tell me that during a class, her "Christian" teacher was telling his class about how he believes in the big bang and evolution. My friend told me that while she was sitting there listening to him she became angry at the things he was saying. She said she felt bad about it, but I told her I was proud and glad she was angry. She wasn't angry at the teacher, but at the things he was saying while still claiming to be a Christian.
What she was feeling was righteous anger. This isn't a sin, but can turn into one. What she was feeling was a need to tell him the Truth. She wanted to turn the teacher away from his hollow beliefs, but admitted to me that she didn't know how. This brings up two questions: How do we have righteous anger, and What should we do to turn these people from their beliefs.
These are two great questions. I personally have faced these questions and the way I have found them is from studying. I have asked pastors, read books, studied scripture, and stuff like that. All of those are good ways to learn about righteous anger. I hope that you will search and find different ways to find your own answers.
I believe that if you read Matthew 21:12-13 it will give you the answer. Jesus was angry at the sin being committed, not the people. This is how we should be. We should love the people no matter what, because they are children of God. This sin, however, isn't of God so we should hate it.
The second question: How do we turn these people from their beliefs? Great thing that you want to do. I love your thinking. The simple answer is that you can't force someone to believe something. What is in their heart is what they believe, and no one can change that. We can, however, tell them the Truth and be persistent and pray for them to find the truth in Jesus Christ. That is all we can do. We can argue, plead, even threaten them, but it is up to them to accept the truth laid before them. It is our job to witness to these people, though. If they don't believe then it is between them and God, but if we don't give them the facts, then we have sinned against the person for not having enough love for them to try and get them to the Truth.

Thank You,

Thomas

Good Evening,
It seems like a lifetime since I have last written on here. I had a lot of things come up during the past week and I'm sorry that this meant I couldn't write. Oh well, I'm here now.
This afternoon I received a text that I would like to share with you.

Its funny how ninety people get swine flu and everyone wants to wear face masks, but millions get AIDS and no one wears a condom.
This is kind of exaggerated, but we should get the point. People overreact and under react to things based on being complacent. What I mean is that people aren't used to the idea of another influenza pandemic, so they go over board to protect themselves. I'm not saying that they are being insensible, but chances are, you aren't going to get this virus. What is insensible, however is not defending yourself from something that is as deadly as AIDS. In the U.S. 583,298 total people have died from AIDS over all. The swine flu has killed only one person in the U.S. and only 354 reported cases. AIDS, as we can see, is way more dangerous to us as a country.

How does this affect us? Great question. First of all, we should realize that we should try and prevent all types of sickness, because if we are sick, we probably won't be up to living as Christ-like as we should. Secondly, we are without a doubt, living in a time that there are many ways to prevent physical ailments, but only one for spiritual ones. That is knowing and doing what Christ has commanded us to. This means studying your Bible, doing what your parents ask, and overall living the Christ-life. This is the same old thing you have probably always heard, but the only reason preachers and people witnessing are redundant is, because its pretty important. It is the equivalent of AIDS, and the swine flu is losing at tic-tac-toe. Tic-tac-toe isn't very important all, but doing the things that the Creator and God of the universe is.
We should follow what Ephesians 6 tells us about preparing for the spiritual warfare we as Christians will face. I challenge you to read this on your own as your daily quiet time. This is a chapter that is talked about and probably well known, but it is becoming something we just hear and don't follow. Don't let the Devil lead you into complacentcy. You should have the fire and drive to live the way Christ has told us. It is the least we can do for Him, since He gave it all for us.

Thank you

Thomas

P.S. I didn't mean to talk down on the swine flu. It is still a serious matter, even though it may seem trivial. Take precautions, just please don't some to school in a hazmat suit :)

P. S. S. Please feel free to sontact me. I don't mind if you email me, talk to me on Facebook, pretty much anything. I would love to see how many people are reading this blog, and hear your opinoins on these subjects, or even give me ideas for later posts. Anything would be great. My email is any1wins@gmail.com. I think of a servant. In today's culture, it is a bad thing to be humble and be a servant. We are looked down upon and thought of weak or inadequate. I don't think that this is true. Jesus came to serve, but not be served. Does that make Him weak? Not, at all. He is God. The alpha and omega. The Truth. He is perfection, and I don't think that He can be weak and be these things. In 2 Chronicles 7:14 God tells us to be humble, pray, and seek His face.
God makes it clear that He wants us to be humbled, so that we can do things to His glory and not ours. If we do that then people will begin to notice what exactly we are living our lives for, God. When they ask us why we don't try and take worldly glory, we can tell them because we want Christ to have it. That will be an amazing act of witnessing. It isn't anything huge and grand, but it is probably very effective. Even if the people that notice are already Christians, it will remind them of how they should be showing the Christ life.
This is a very important part of witnessing that we often forget about. We forget that we are to encourage and help other believers as well. As their brothers and sisters in Christ it is partially our responsibility to keep them on track. Two of the most clear verses that tell us this are: Proverbs 24:11-12, and Hebrews 10:24."Rescue those being taken off to death, and those stumbling toward slaughter.
If you say, "But we didn't know about this," won't He who weighs your heart consider it? Won't He who protects your life know? Won't He repay a person according to his work?" Proverbs 24:11-12.

This means that if we know someone is sinning and falling from the straight and narrow we should help them stay on track and keep from being taken captive by sin.

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds." Hebrews 10:24.

This verse is pretty clear on what we are called to do for our brothers and sisters, and those who are still lost. We should make this a priority. It will give you a way to witness the good news and will bring out the Christ lives of others. Believe me it will change your way of life, but all for good in the end. It will also give you a great mood. Being a humble servant of God, who promotes good deeds among all, will definitely give you fulfillment in your life, where living for yourself won't. Make it your personal goal to live for Him, because He died and rose for you.

By His Grace,

Thomas

Greetings,

I love sweatpants. OK, that was random, but just go with it. Sweatpants are comfortable, but they will seem tacky if you wear them a lot. Like most people, I only wear them once in a while. Like, when I'm feeling lazy or need comfort over style. When I want more style, I'll wear jeans or shorts. The jeans and shorts are probably more appealing to look at. Would you rather ask someone out if they were wearing sweatpants or jeans? Most people would answer jeans, because they just seem to give a better first impression of someone.

The same thing is applical to believing something someone will tell you. If someone sugar coats something and "dresses" it up in "jeans" then we are more likely to believe them, and if it is in sweatpants then we won't belive them as easy. This is very true. We can see it in advertising a lot. The big flashy logo or slogan will bring in more more customers than the boring black and white one.

The Devil knows this and is probably the best advertiser ever. He is the king of lies, so he should be able to decieve us into buying into something that we shouldn't. He will use asssumptive language, convince us ignore what should ethically be done, and flat out lie.

By assumptive language I mean that he won't out and out say something, but it implies something else. Like Carl Sagan said, "The cosmos is all that is, or ever was, or ever will be." These words were the opening statement on his hit television show Cosmos. It implies that there is no God. If he were to say, "There is no God," his show would have never aired. Satan uses things like this to influence us into believing false philosophies. If we believe these philosophies, then we won't be able to follow the Truth, because we won't be able to distinguish Truth from lie anymore.

He also convinces us to ignore the ethical truths that God has given us in His word, the Bible. He does by twisting scripure, and telling us that the things we do won't matter. If we give into the twisted scripture then we have made ourselves slaves to the Enemy. Like it says in John chapter 8 verse 44, "You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies."

This is a very strong verse, pretty creepy as well. I tells us that since our father is the devil, while we are still unsaved, that we aren't holding to the truth that God has given us. We are going against the Creator of the universe, which is something that is pretty futile. We won't be able to stand against Him forever, so we should repent now. If we repent now, our lives won't be wasted on flesh desires and the deeds of Satan. We will stand for God and lead others to do the same. That is a amazing thing to do. I love the feeling of knowing that you are making a difference in not only someone's mortal life, but also their eternal one. There is no more important favor to do for someone than to lead them to God's loving grace. I pray that these words will speak to you and lead you to do something for God and his kingdom.

Saved by Grace,

Thomas

Good afternoon,

Have you ever doubted God? Everyone at sometime or another has doubted God or something about Him or the Bible. I know I have, a lot. That will, or should, cause us to want to prove it to ourselves and others. We as humans won't, however, be able to prove it without a doubt. As Dietrich Bonheffer said, " A god who let us prove his existence would be an idol."
Our one true God cearly isn't an idol, so in turn we shouldn't expect that God should be able to be proven. Even though we are crated in God's image, we aren't as "smart" as Him, so we won't understand His nature fully. We should however try to understand His nature because that will help guide us towards following His will at all times. We should want to do these things but we will never reach a state of "nirvana", or total understanding. We won't be able to find this state no matter how much we study His Word, because humans have their limitations of understanding.
This means that the only things we can prove are the things that are made up of matter, or energy; but we know that there is more since all through history humans have made up things that are spiritual, which is something that we as humans can't just some up with. So, since we have these things all through history and today (ghosts, God, souls, Satan, the Force), we should conclude that there must be something like that out there, even though it doesn't meet the world's definition of reality.
As Christians we must be able to distinguish between the Truth and the Lies here on earth. The biggest lie of all is that God doesn't exist. I have seen so many people, even those close to me, fall into that trap. Its a trap that will trick you into believing. People may not say, "There is no God," but they may say, "The cosmos is all that there is or ever was or ever will be," as Carl Sagan did. If we believe this assummptive language, then we will start and begin to believe bigger and bigger lies, eventually leading to the statement that there is no God.
To prevent from these lies, we need to pay attention to the things that we start to believe and let our trust go to. I think that you should read your Bible everyday and get to know the word, because it is our measuring stick to judge statements on. If it doesn't fall in line with what Jesus has taught us then it is one of many lies that Satan has thrown at us. We should stay clear from these lies, because their main objective is to deceive us and lead us from the righteous path God wants for us.
You should have hope, because God is truly there. He loves you and cares for you. Don't worry if it seems that God isn't workning in your life, because I have found that is the time that He is actually working the most.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. From now on there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give to me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have longed for his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:7-8

I pray that you will stand before the Father on the judgement day and tell Him exactly this.

If you have any doubts on the subject of the reality of God please visit http://www.christiananswers.net/q-aiia/cosmosallthereis.html. Even if you are sure of this, I urge you to read this and gain more knowledge so that you will be able to witness even better.

Thank you for reading,

Thomas

Good evening,

How busy are you? Are you just barely fitting your day into 24 hours? I used to be like this, and it was beyond stressful. I could barely handle my responsibilities at school, let alone my chores at home. This left me very anxious and worried about things that I shouldn't have been worried about. It was taking a large toll on my psyche, my relationships, and my overall health. the way I got away from this was reevaluating our entire schedule. This means basing our entire schedule on sleep, work, and church.
These are the three things that you need to set aside each day to be able to do everyday. We must get the proper amount of sleep to function to the best of our abilities; plus it will boost our mood, stamina, and our health overall. If we can get our sleep then all of our actions throughout the rest of the day are all going to be more productive for the plan God has in our life.

Work, is going to support us being able to have food, shelter, and the comforts that we may want in our lives. Work, as long as it is something God would want us to do, is going to benefit God's plan in some way. It could give us opportunities to witness. It can be a way of directly influencing someones life. It can just bring joy and hope to someone that may need it. No matter how insignificant it may seem, God wants it to happen, because you should be showing the "Christ-life" through your actions.

Church. This is the most important element in our daily lives. It isn't only important to us on Sunday mornings, or Wednesday nights. It should be a day to day walk with the Lord. This should be through reading our Bibles, praying, and being active by "doing hard things". This means not only just living our day to day lives and letting whatever happens happen, it is taking risks and doing things that will make a difference for God. These acts don't have to be large acts like writing a book, or starting a charity. It can be as simple as standing up for your beliefs, and doing things that are right that you won't get patted on the back for any time soon. We shouldn't be selfish and want our personal glory here on earth, we should let God have His glory.

So what are we to do about the other things like television, or computer? Well the Bible doesn't explicitly say how long we should have for these things, so there is no clear answer. We can however decide if the things we watch, or do on the computer are things that are eating up our time, or going to do good eventually. For example, I don't watch any television, except the hour and fifteen minutes I get in my first hour, and those are all news. The computer is my weakness though, I spend almost five hours pretty much doing nothing on the internet. It is a blessing though, because I can do research that i may need, and I can write this ever growing blog. I am cutting back on my computer usage, though so eventually it will only be for working and connecting to others. I pray that you will be able to take out your distractions in life, because before then you can't give your total focus to God. If you can't do that, then we aren't submitting our lives to Him, which is the most important thing to do in life. I truly hope that you will take this as God's reminder to you.

By His Grace,

Thomas

Good evening,

What would you say to me if I told you God would lie to you, reject you, want your worst, want us to be selfish, or for Him to plain old just not care? You would probably stop reading this blog and call me an anti-Christ, and things of that sort. Why would you do that? Because, we as Christians should know that our Father in Heaven is not a single one of those things, but as a society today we have grown to accept these things, or at least be tolerant of those who teach these things. "How?," you may ask. Well I'll break it down for you:

1. God can't lie. This is a very simple thing that we should have learned early in our lives, but many of us have missed the point. Only about 53% of teens believe that Jesus didn't sin while on this earth, which is against what it says in the Bible. Since the Bible is God's holy word, that would mean that God himself is a liar. God isn't a liar, because for Him to lie it would mean that He would go against His nature, and God can't do that. That would be like a apple trees growing potatoes. Its impossible.

2. God can't reject you. God loves us uninhibitedly and so for Him to reject us would mean that He didn't love and care for us. As Isaiah 40:10 says, "So don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my victorious right hand." We should have faith in Him that He will be be with us, because He will.

3. God will not, can not, and would not ever want our worst, or for us to fail. If we were to fail God then that means we were sinning. When we sin, it creates a separation from God that He doesn't want. God actively pursues a very real, very personal relationship with us. He wants us to succeed in everything that we do, because that in turn brings glory to Him.

4. God doesn't want us to be selfish. Being selfish is a sin, and as in the above paragraph, we see that He doesn't want this. If we are selfish, we are taking God's glory for ourselves, we are ignoring our chance to tell of how God has given us the abilities that we have. Its just telling God that we want to be more important than Him, which is pretty much what Satan did before being kicked out of Heaven. That's one thing I don't want to be compared to.

5. God always cares about us. He loves us more than we can imagine. He has made promises to us that He will with us forever, through everything. The best known verse in the Bible, John 3:16, says, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son; for whomever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life." This is all the proof I need that God cares for us.

Dear Reader,
You may have noticed that I strayed from my usual writing style. I wanted to try this to see if it was easier for me to get of more information on this topic, in an orderly fashion, than if I was to just write what came to my mind as it did so. I think that for now, I will stick to my normal writing style, because I feel it shows more of a personal connection to the writing. Thank you for bearing with me during this learning experience.

God bless you,

Thomas

Do you know anyone that is "luke-warm"? This may be in sports, school, work, church, or anything. To me it is depressing to see people like this. I used to be very luke-warm when it came to all of these things. School and church stand out in my mind as the worst though.
In school, I am one of the top students in my school and maybe the country. I may not be, though, because I don't work half as hard as I should. I blame it on A.D.D. but deep down inside I know that isn't the problem. The problem is I sometimes lose sight of what I want in the big picture, and so I don't put in effort. The main reason I don't put the effort in is because I don't really get much immediate payoff. I really want academic scholarships, but I see that slipping away. I don't want that, because I'm just a Oklahoma boy, that will need all the scholarships he can get.
A few months ago I noticed that the same thing is happening to me in my faith, and that was very scary because that was one thing I definitely couldn't afford. It had cost me many great friends and a lot of heartache. It troubles me to see so many of my Christian friends falling to a "luke-warm" state in their walk with Christ. This hits me especially hard, because I know how hard it can be to get back on tack. Many of them are starting to do things that they looked down on me for when I was still lost.
What are we to do? This is a common question from the people I have spoken to about this. A lot of teens I know want a change, but don't know how. As Christians we should follow what we are told in Epesians 4:25, "Since you put away lying, Speak the truth, each one to his neighbor, because we are members of each other." This, however doesn't give us the right to judge others, but we should be truthful and not selfish in our words.
We are told to hate the sin not the sinner. Just because we are calling out someones sin, doesn't mean that we are calling them a bad Christian. We should be telling them the exact opposite; they are very important to God and his kingdom, and we love them enough that we don't want them to faith fall through.
This should be very important to us, because as is says in Hebrews 10:24, "Let us think of each other and lead one another in order to promote love and good works." This has become a "theme" to me lately. We as Christians should not only do this by calling them out on thier sins, but accepting their corrections aswell. If we don't do this, then we will allow our hearts to become bitter and we won't be open to the will of God.
Sometimes I wish I would have realized these things before I let my faith fall through. That would have saved me from heartache, but it probably wouldn't have led me to being the man I am now. Everything that God allows to happen to us is for a reason. Don't ever lose sight of this."Though the mountains be shaken and the hills removed, yet my unfailing love will ont be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the Lord, who has compassion on you Isaiah 54:10. As I am finishing this entry, the song How to Save a Life comes to mind. It is an amazing song by a great Christian band, The Fray. I encourage you to listen to this song and while you are dong so think of the things God has put before you. You will be surprised by just how much God can achieve through you. That is my challenge to you. Trust in Him. Siomple, but still many of us can't seem to do it. With this, I'll leave you to pray over until tomorrow.

By His Grace,

Thomas

Good afternoon,

Recently there has been a lot of buzz around me about the support of people that stand against the beliefs that we as Christians should have. This includes gay rights, abortion, and premarital sex. As I am writing this, I am texting a friend very dear to me and we are having a disagreement over if supporting someones talents, who may or may not be gay, is wrong. I think, and I may be seriously wrong, but we should not support the person. The main person we are talking about is the American Idol sensation, Adam Lambert. The guy can sing, but does he exemplify the values that he should have to deserve our votes? I just don't know if he does. It isn't written in stone that he is, but the popular opinion is that he is. He has shown that even if he isn't gay, he has no problem with getting closer to other men than he should. That alone crosses the line for me. To me, that would be the same as me getting way to close to a girlfriend. I can't support someone who does that. Grant it, I have crossed the line with girls, but I have changed. I may have supported people who have done things like this in the past, but not now.
Call me intolerant, but I hate the sin, not the sinner. We don't have to stop being friends with that person, we just have to show them that God tells us that what they are doing is wrong. I personally have some very close friends that are homosexual, and I have told most of them that I don't like what they are doing but I don't hate them or anything. I believe that if we don't follow what the Holy Spirit has put in our heart, it is the equivalent of spitting in the face of God. Would you like to spit at our creator, our Savior; I wouldn't. I have done that enough in my life by sinning, that I don't want to do that anymore.
I'm afraid that as a culture we have been accepted that homosexuality is the norm, but it is far from that. We need to reevaluate the things we support, just accept, or ignore altogether. I have ignored these things in my life long enough that I can't call myself a disciple without readjusting myself. I pray that you do too. It will be hard, but Jesus never told us that "making disciples of all nations" wouldn't be a daunting task. Becoming a better Christian will be a tough ting to do, but I truly hope that you will step up and do it.
I know that what I'm writing will probably offend you, whether you are gay or not. That isn't what I'm after. What I'm after is showing that God loves us all and wants us to come back to Him. If you don't agree with me then pray about it. Tell me how you feel about his subject or anything else on your mind. I'm always going to listen to you, whether I agree or not.

Thanks and God Bless,
Thomas

Standing up for our faith

Good day,

As many of you heard and saw, last night was the Miss USA Pageant, and it was an interesting night. Though I didn't personally see it I saw the highlights this morning on FOX News in my fisrt hour where we watch the news a lot. What happened last night was one of the bravest things I have ever seen anyone do on national television. When asked by a celebrity blogger, Perez Hilton, about the legalization of gay marriage, Carrie Prejean said that she was against gay marriage. She seemed unsure of her answer at first but she caught her tongue and stood by her her answer. It brings me joy to see that there are young people in America that will stand up for what they believe in. This may not seem like a very big thing to some but to me it seems to be a huge step for our generation, who have been exposed to many philosophies that gone against the Bible. It is beyond important to stand up for what we believe and not be "luke-warm" in our faith.
I know that some of you will probably disagree with my stance on gay marriage, but it says in Leviticus 18:22 that a man shall not lie with a man as he lies with a woman. This means that homosexuality is ethicaly wrong. As a Christian you shouldn't be tolerant of what that person is choosing to do, this doesn't however mean that we shouldn't be tolerant of the people choosing to live in such a life style. what they are doing is a sin and no sin is worse than another. Many people may think that we, as a culture, should be tolerant of any life style or religion. We shouldn't be that because if we are tolerant then that is saying that what they are
choosing to do is fine by us and that isn't the attitude we should have. We should, however love the other person as God loves us and try lead them to Christ so that they can get their hearts right with God. If we can do that then we will change the world and extend the kingdom of God, which is what we are expected to do. This is going to be a very hard thing for me to do on my own, so I pray that God will lay it upon your heart to do something about it.
I am currently reading the book Do Hard Things by Brett and Alex Harris. This is an amazing book and is a must read for any teenager, definitely if you are a Christian. I believe that we as teenagers need to challenge ourselves and do hard things for the glory of God. Go out your way to do this and God will repay us in ways we can't even imagine. Please find some way to do this because it will impact your life in amazing ways. Believe this Okie, it has already changed me and many of my close friends. If you have any questions about this or just need someone to pray for you then e-mail me at any1wins@gmail.com.

Thanks and God Bless,
Thomas

A little about me

Hello friends,
My name is Thomas and I am fifteen years old. That may seem young for someone who is going to be blogging about Christian life, but I don't think it is. Timothy 4:12 says, "No one should despise your youth; instead, you should be an example to the believers in speech, conduct, and in love." As a Christian teen, I am called to be no less than what God expects all other Christians to be. Right now, God has called me to be a witness to Him and His amazing love for us.
I am currently helping lead The Truth Project, which is a Focus on the Family Bible study. In our group it is for teens and lead by teens. By doing this I am getting experience in teaching and studying the Word. This is a very good thing for me because right now I feel that God is leading me into ministry. This excites me, because nothing is better than leading someone to Christ. I have been through many hardships in my life and I know that those were helping prepare me for God's will in my life.
This blog is a way for me to connect and witness to more people in the world than just those in my school or town. In the blog I will go over some personal things about me and different "mini-sermons". If you like this blog or don't or just want someone to hear what you have to say then comment the blog. Any and all comments will be appreciated.

Thanks and God Bless,
Thomas
